This post is all about cozy guest bedroom decor.
It’s hard enough to decide how you want to style and decorate your master bedroom, let alone having to do the same for the guest bedroom. If you’re like me, I thought planning and picking out furniture and decor for the guest bedroom was much harder.
However I am happy to report that this post is all about how you can furnish and style your guest bedroom without breaking the bank or stressing out!
Let’s dive into some cozy guest bedroom decor must-haves that will complete your space physically and financially! I am obsessed with this guest bedroom decor and I hope you are too!

Before we moved into our apartment, I struggled trying to find furniture for our soon-to-be spare guest bedroom. If you tried buying furniture over the summer like I did, you know how impossible it was to find anything available or ready to ship in less than 14-16 weeks. This issue was pretty much the problem for every company, lead times were pushed out for months due to lack of materials and some business had to close due to their states guidelines.
I stumbled upon this website called Living Spaces and their turnaround time was 4-6 weeks which was doable for my timeline. After many hours spent browsing websites, searching for the shorter delivery times etc., I finally found the guest bedroom set that I wanted and that fit my budget!
The bedroom set that I purchased is called the “Cassie” and I bought the queen sized frame along with the dresser without the mirror and one night stand. However, in my head I thought that I ordered two night stands for each side of the bed but I ended up only buying one. In the end, it worked out perfectly because I needed a home for my desk and it fits just right next to the bed!

When our set arrived, everything was perfectly packaged. No dents, scratches or tears in the packaging or the material. After we examined everything, it was time to put it together. I can honestly report that assembling the bed was simple, the instructions were clear and straight forward.
Now once all of the furniture was put together, I began unpacking some various picture frames and spare bedroom decor that I kept from the old house.
My favorite part of this room is the “Make Yourself At Home” sign that greets you right as you walk in through the door. The sign is XL (44″ x 22″) and the frame color is “stain”.

After the cozy guest bedroom was complete, I felt a great sense of relief and excitement. I love that this space is warm, inviting and open. Since we live in an apartment, I was not able paint or wallpaper any of the walls so I added a few accents on the wall to fill some of the space. I want my guests to feel welcomed and at home, and sometimes less is more.
A majority of my guest bedroom decor is from Amazon, Target and Marshalls!

Below are some snapshots of the guest bathroom.
The guest bathroom was a simple space to spruce up! I began with the terra-cotta colored bath towels and the taupe sculpted hand towels that I saved from our old house. I realized as I was pulling this bathroom together that I was playing with a bunch of colors, at first I thought it was too much, but everything seems to work well together.
I really wanted to include pampas grass but I wasn’t willing to spend much money on a bundle if I found it. But, one day on a walk around the bay here where I live, I found an entire patch of pampas grass! I broke a decent amount of the grass off and knew exactly where I was going to put it! I lightly sprayed the grass with hairspray to prevent the grass from shedding and arranged each stem in a farmhouse inspired glass vase wrapped in chicken wire. To finish the bathroom off, I added a few amber glass hand soap bottles!
